Whitehaven residents frustrated by 'inadequate' management of overgrown verge

Overgrown roadside vegetation continues to raise safety and access concerns among residents of a Whitehaven street, after confusion over land ownership and eventual council intervention – which they have since referred to as a ‘one-off gesture’.
